Hey Mark -- Thanks! I'll be going to get vaccinated for any memes that may arise. And I'll take RARE any day. Something that teeth can be sunk into...Sank? Sunked? Hmmm....

Random Magnus -- Thanks for stopping by. I always read your comments on others' blogs, so it was fun actually reading your blog. What a concept, huh? High five your mom for me.

Hey Meleah -- NYC is probably the premiere people watching place. A very good thing to whip out your writer's notebook for. And have fun with Stunk & White's -- it's a pretty easy reference. Don't let any of it get too stuffy for you, though. Audience, audience, audience.

Loved this post.

As for #6. I am such a people watcher. I can spend an entire day in the park, or in NYC, or even my local grocery store, watching people.

As for #8, I just bought Strunk about a week ago. I am the worst with grammar and spelling. I have to learn how to write properly. (I would gladly take one of those "lessons")...?

I am still laughing at the first one, I think with your permission I am going to repeat that one. This was such a cute list. I love people watching as well and words are my greatest weakness.

By the way my mom labels her shoes.

Standing ovation to you, dear Kellypea. Bloody well done. Actually, perhaps "bloody" would be medium rare, wouldn't it?

Ah well, you did a great job anyway. You've got style. And flair (which I thought went out in the 70's. Oh. No that flairs. Nevermind).

Hey Dawn. Ditto. Glad you enjoyed. I wasted a fairly good portion of my day doing this. But hey, I got to revisit some of those old grammar demons.

Hi Phil, Glad to hear you're an outside the box type, too. I will say as much as I enjoy being one, I kind of like knowing where the lines are -- just to make sure I don't step on them without actually meaning to. And you may be onto something with the whole youme-youthey thing. Seriously. Think about it. We could all end up smack talking one another. The we might have what my mother would call a snowball's chance in hell to compete with all the gossip blogs.

Ah the blissful escape from another meme. I have a couple out there I do believe that I'm due fer, but denial is such sweetness until the day of reckoning when I face the music and do the posting. They actually are quite fun once I get into them. I just can be such a non-conformist that doing almost anything in line with the norm rattles me a bit. Been thinking about starting a meyou or a yourme or a youthey or something. Random I know.
