Lavendar is one of my favorite smells in the world…it grows like a WEED around here. I have a bunch of it outside my bedroom window so I can smells it…mmmmmmm!

This is a lovely post. And it reminded me of the French tradition of lavender lemonade. I love the taste. I Googled for a recipe and found one that is closest to what I remember on plaincook dot com.

Aw, what a sweet and fragrant post We live in the desert, and therefore have no lavender, unless you count the candle on the windowsill.

That was so nicely written. I LOVE lavendar, but have a very difficult time growing it for some reason. You yard sounds beautiful. Have you tried lavendar ice cream? Heaven in a bowl!!

I adore lavender and my mother and I both adore lilacs, she always wrote/emailed me at school on the day they bloomed just to let me know they had. Lilac had to be everywhere though in Tasmania we only had a small shrub lilac.

paisley, I do too, and sometimes go to the bulk bins at Henry’s where I can purchase a big scoop to keep around the house. It’s incredible!

I lost my mom 2 1/2 years ago and I think about her all the time. She seems to be everywhere and I had a good cry about her yesterday thinking of her missing all these milestones in the lives of my children whom she adored so much. Thanks for your touching Love Thursday post!
